Registrations Weekend this past week!

This past weekend Channa Hobbs and I were in the back of the Church after all the Masses signing up and collecting all your religious education and youth group registrations. We missed many more. We are hoping to collect all the registrations by August 30th. By getting your registrations in early we will be better able to serve the youth in the parish when we start our programs on the week of September 18th. You can pick up a copy of the registration in the back of the church or online. Middle school and high school schedule will be online by next Monday. If you put an email that is comparable with GoogleCalendar on the registration I will share my calendar with you so you stay up to date with the appropriate programs.

Registrations

Please mark your calendars to attend one of the Mandatory Parents Meetings
Wednesday, September 14: 6:30-7 Elementary; 7-7:20 Middle; 7:20-8PM High School at the PAC
Or
Saturday, September 17: 9-9:30 Elementary; 9:30-9:50 Middle; 9:50-10:30AM High School at the PAC

If you are able to help out with our programs this coming year, please let me know. Parents and grandparents can help with lessons, activities, and small groups. I also need individuals to help by donating food, example;  (Goldfish, CHEEZ IT, cookies, Oreos, Cup of Noodles (no Ramen Noodles please), cheese sticks, and candy (individual wrapped works well, all excepted) fruit, large candy bars works wonderful for prized, individual bags of chips, pop and soda and anything else you can think of). The way to a teens heart is often through their stomach!!!!

Please let us know if you have questions.

BIBLE STUDY TONIGHT

We will be having a bible study tonight from 7 to 9pm for anyone going into high school this fall. Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, " The Old Testament is like a radio with the hidden voice announcing the One to come. The New Testement is like a television because the Word became both audible and visible." I will see you at the PAC tonight!
