Retreat Opportunities
1. The Diocese of Yakima always hosts a Diocesan Youth Convention and in the past St Joseph has had a rather weak turn out, I would love do have a better showing this year. The DYC is a great way to meet Catholics from around the Diocese of Yakima to be inspired by your faith. The conference boasts of a national acclaimed key note speaker Fr Nathan O'Halloran SJ, and entertainment and music provided by the Alex Street Band. The Conference is held at Holy Family in Yakima November 4-6 and the cost is $50.
Please register no later than 10/31. Please see the website for more info.
2. The Schoenstatts are hosting a conference on Mary. Saint John Paul II this of our Blessed Mother, "Mary is the sure path to our meeting with Christ. Devotion to the Mother of the Lord, when it is genuine, is always an impetus to a life guided by the spirit and values of the Gospel." The Schoenstatts are looking forward and would love to have as may High School youth present as possible! The Conference will be held November 18-20 at St Joseph Dillon Hall. The cost for High School Students has been reduced to $15 because they really want High School Students to have the opportunity to develop a relationship with our Blessed Mother.
